Terry Weihing

1943 ~ 2013


Terry Weihing, 69, of Gulfport died Tuesday, September 17, 2013 in Gulfport.

He was born in Pensacola, FL. and was a graduate of Gulfport High School, class of 1961. He was a 1965 graduate of Mississippi State University with a degree in Business Administration and also a ROTC graduate entering the U.S. Air Force in 1966 as a 2nd Lt. and retiring in 1989 as a Lt. Col. He was a Vietnam Veteran. Mr. Weihing was also retired from Federal Express after 20 years as a professional pilot.

He was a member of Gulfport Yacht Club and Les Cavaliers Carnival Association. He moved back to Gulfport from Germantown, TN two years ago.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Billie and Floyd Weihing.

He is survived by his wife, Debbie Weihing of Gulfport; a daughter, Brenda Gibeault and her husband, Cameron of Phoenix, Arizona; a son, Chris Thompson and his fiancée, Stephanie Long of Germantown, TN; a brother, Carl Weihing and his wife, Robin of Pascagoula; numerous nieces and nephews and so many loving friends there are too many to name.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 21, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport where friends may visit beginning at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Gulfport with military honors.
