Clifford Wesley Lloyd, age 91 of Davie passed away August 2nd, 2014. He is predeceased by his wife of 67 years, Ethelyn, and granddaughter, Amy Lloyd. He is survived by a son, Ralph Lloyd and his wife Patti, a daughter, Leanne Povolny, two grandsons, John and Nicholas and three great grandchildren, Evan, Emma and Anna. Clifford was a Davie Pioneer. Born in Calhan, Colorado, he moved to Davie with his family in 1925. Clifford attended Ft. Lauderdale High School and the University of Florida and married Ethelyn in 1942. He was a World War II veteran who served in the Air Corps with the 507th Fighter Group in the Pacific. Clifford was a wonderful and loving husband, father and grandfather. A memorial service will be held 11:00am Wednesday, August 20th, 2014 at Davie United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Davie United Methodist Church, 6500 S.W. 47th Street, Davie, FL 33314. Condolences may be shared on line at www.fredhunters.com.
