Elizabeth Ann Keeley Ewing passed away on March 12, 2014. She was born in Davenport, Iowa on February 8, 1936 to the late George and Marjorie Keeley, members of the Gilchrist family. She attended Villa de Chantal School in Rock Island, Illinois, Barry College (Barry University) in Miami and graduated with an education degree from Northwestern University, Evanston, Illinois. She was a licensed school teacher in three states as well as a licensed Interior Designer. Mrs. Ewing had been a resident of Fort Lauderdale since 1967. She was a member of several charitable organizations, Coral Ridge County Club and Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church. She is survived by her three daughters, Catherine, Susan and Ann Benson; brother George F. Keeley; six grandchildren, Warren, Elizabeth, Marshall, Charles, Andrew and Serena; two nieces Margaret and Melissa and a nephew George. A private burial will be held at the City of Pompano Beach Cemetery.
