Berkowitz, Harold (Hal), 80, of Boca Raton, passed away peacefully May 10, 2013. Born October 20, 1932, in Brooklyn to Irving Berkowitz and Livia Reiter. Formerly of Commack, NY, and West Hampton Beach, NY. Pre-deceased by his loving wife of 56 years, Rosalyn. Survived by son Lloyd Berkowitz, MD (Lorrie) of Boca Raton, son Martin Berkowitz (Laura) of Stonington, CT, and daughter Amy Manoli of Needham, MA. Also survived by adoring grandchildren Rachel (Evan), Aaron, Michael, Jake, Noah, Charles, Jack, and Isabelle. Hal served honorably in the United States Coast Guard during the Korean War. He retired in 2003 after a distinguished career as a furniture manufacturer representative. Service Sunday, May 12, at 3:30 p.m. at Temple Beth El Mausoleum, 333 S.W. Fourth Avenue, Boca Raton.
