Chovan, James A., 49, of Oakland Park passed away suddenly on Saturday, November 17, 2012. Jim recently retired after 25 years from the Ft. Lauderdale Fire Dept where he served as an EMT, Firefighter and Haz-Mat Driver Engineer earning many commendations for his service. He was a loving father to his two daughters, Alexandria Chovan and Taylor Grantham; a caring son to Barbara Chovan and grandson to Mary Salb. Visitation will be held Monday November 26, 2012, 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m., with a 6:30 p.m. Funeral Service at the First Christian Church of Wilton Manors2725 NE 14 Ave Wilton Manors FL.
