Bridgman, James Jay "Jim", 88, went to join his wife, Glover, on March 27, 2013 on what would have been their 67th wedding anniversary. Jim was born to Nora and Ralph Bridgman in Elma, NY on January 3, 1925. Jim was a World War II Purple Heart recipient and veteran. He and Glover moved to S. Florida in 1954 and raised their four children in the Ft. Lauderdale/Hollywood area. Jim was employed by Holman Enterprises and was General Manager and Executive Vice President of Hollywood Lincoln Mercury. Jim also served as past President of the Florida lndependent Auto Dealer Association, Broward County Dealers Association and the Rotary and Lions Club. He and Glover retired to Cashiers, NC in 1980 and later moved to Daytona Beach FL in the 1990's to be near their family. Jim had a love for his family, friends and the game of golf. He is survived by son, Jay (Judy), son Mark (Cindy), daughter Jill (Dan Frayne). He was predeceased by his wife Glover and son, Jeff. He was grandfather "Pop Pop" to six loving grandchildren, Brian, Scott, Robert (Kristen), Britney, and Zack and Sarah Frayne. Jim will be greatly missed.
