Jeanne Mary Bombinski Marks died peacefully on July 3, 2014. She was born in Chicago on January 28, 1954 and lived in Palatine, IL through high school. She and her husband, Bill, have lived in Weston for 24 years. She attended Arizona State University and graduated with a degree in Marketing from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. She was a born salesperson and won many sales awards with Mast Advertising and Publishing, Lanier Corporation and Bell South Advertising and Publishing. Her rule of thumb was, don't give up on a sale until you take at least seven nos. She also applied this rule to her family. Jeanne had a number of passions, including travel, wine, photography, tennis and especially, her cats. She is survived by her husband and soulmate of 34 years, William T. (Bill) Marks, her sister, Linda B. Abruzzini, and her two brothers, Michael G. Bombinski and Greg G. Bombinski , as well as, 11 nieces and nephews . She was predeceased by her mother, Rosalie Constance Smith, her father, George Frank Bombinski and a brother, Philip G. Bombinski. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 on Saturday, July 19, 2014 at St. Benedict's Episcopal Church, 7801 NW 5th Street, Plantation, FL 33324. A reception in the Parish Hall will follow. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to the Broward County Humane Society, 2070 Griffin Road, Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33312.
