Bora, John J. "Jay" was born Sept. 18, 1919 in Cleveland, Ohio; he came to Florida in 1950. He was a veteran of WWII, serving with the US Navy in the South Pacific as Gunners Mate First Class. Prior to his retirement in 1965,he worked in construction as a carpenter & General Supervisor. He was also a member of the Carpenters Union #1364. A longtime member of BPOE 2273, he served as exalted ruler in 1967. He leaves behind his most gracious, wonderful, loveable, Darling Wilise Langford; my soul mate as he called her. Children Debbie, Cindy, Bill & Patti, grandchildren Tonya, Chris, Shanon, & Tiffany; 6 great grandchildren, Rachel, Dylan, Tony, Tan, Theresa,Tierra,& several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received on Thursday 10:00-11:00 AM at the T.M. Ralph Plantation Funeral Home 7001 NW 4 Street. Pastor Samuel L. Wright of Plantation United Methodist Church will lead a service at 11:00AM, with participation by BPOE. Interment will follow at Boynton Beach Municipal Cemetery; a reception will follow the service. 954 587-6888 tmralph.com
