Kathleen Marie Gray, of Boca Raton, Florida, beloved wife of Steven Paul Gray passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2014, after courageously battling colon cancer since December 2007. Kathie was born July 2, 1956 to Mildred and the late Frank Blust, in Detriot, MI. She graduated from Fitzgerald High School in 1974 and earned her B.A. from Michigan State University in 1978. She met her husband, Steve while attending grade school and they married June 17, 1978. They resided in Michigan and Florida, and were also part-time residents of Evening Shade, Arkansas where they have a ranch. Among her many accomplishments, Kathie had a successful career in retail. Kathie will be remembered by her colleagues as a great mentor and loyal friend. Kathie was an active member of Wellspring Community Church and a member and Deacon of Glades Presbyterian Church. She loved spending time outdoors at Lonesome Oak, their ranch in Arkansas. A smart and successful career woman, Kathie's greatest passion was her family and the time they spent together. Kathie is survived by her husband and best friend Steve. She leaves behind her children, Steven and Sarah, siblings, Victoria Novotny and Richard Blust, and mother Mildred Blust. She will be greatly missed. A Celebration of Kathie's life will be held 1 pm, Saturday, January 25, 2014 at Glades Presbyterian Church, 21121 Judge Winikoff Rd, Boca Raton, FL.
