Marshman, Lola L., 86, died on Tuesday, February 25, 2014. She was born January 30, 1928 to Cyrus Lewis and Vesta Miller (deceased) and raised in Elyria, Ohio. She is survived by her son, Gregory Geisel (Jane) and their daughter Jessica. She attended Elementary and High School in Ohio, then went on to graduate from Michigan State University. She moved to Fort Lauderdale in 1955 where she started her career in banking and eventually became a Trust Officer with Landmark Bank. As a Trust Officer she was highly respected throughout the banking community. She was a member and Officer of the Stock and Bond Club of Fort Lauderdale, where she met her much beloved husband Edward. A long time member of the American Contract Bridge League, as well as the Lauderdale Yacht Club. Lola was an avid Bridge player and in 2000 attained the status of Life Master. She also loved to travel the world with Edward and friends, where she was often found to be working on one of her many pieces of magnificent needlepoint. Lola lived her life to the fullest, surrounded by many friends and she will be greatly missed. Visitation will be held at Fred Hunter's Downtown Fort Lauderdale Chapel, 718 S. Federal Highway, Fort Lauderdale 33316 on Monday, March 3, 2014 from 10:00 to 12:30, followed by the Entombment at Lauderdale Memorial Park at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Macular Degeneration Research, 22512 Gateway Center Drive, Clarksburg, MD 20871.
