Meyer W. Eisner, age 65 of Coconut Creek, FL passed away, November 26, 2013, after a long, courageous battle. He was born in Bronx, New York to the late Abraham and Goldie Landy Eisner. Meyer graduated high school in Philadelphia then earned his Bachelors degree from Penn State University. He managed the Warwick Hotel in Philadelphia before becoming a stock broker and options trader. He then obtained his Masters degree from Chestnut Hill College, and taught math in Philadelphia public schools for a short time before starting his own company, where he published financial newsletters. Those of us who knew Meyer will remember him for his quick wit and sense of humor. He never forgot a joke and retold every one better than the original. Meyer is survived by his wife, Panyika Eisner; his sisters, Pearl Wexler (Wayne) of Virginia Beach, VA, Toby Friedman (Louis) of Jim Thorpe, PA, Paula Brown (Paul) of Huntersville, NC, and Ellen Charlton (Charles) of Philadelphia, PA; he is also survived by his daughter, grandson, many loving nieces and nephews, and many, many close friends. Meyer was predeceased by his brother David Eisner and sister Mollie Cohen. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your local SPCA. A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, December 15, 2013 at 12:00 p.m., at The Star of David Memorial Gardens, located at 7701 Bailey Road, North Lauderdale, FL.
