Nancy Joan Mack Eagan passed away at Hospice by the Sea on Thursday, January 23, 2014; she was 75 years old. Nancy was born on September 17, 1938, the daughter of Virginia and Sigmund John Mack. She was raised and educated in Detroit, Michigan before moving to Boca Raton in 1971. Nancy was a beloved elementary school teacher at J.C. Mitchell followed by Hagan Ranch Road School and Whispering Pines. After retiring, she loved taking cruises with husband Patrick. They traveled to over 65 countries together, meeting people, and experiencing new cultures. Besides her devoted husband, Patrick Joseph Eagan, she is survived by three loving daughters: Laura Rice Paden, Julie Rice Charouhis, Roberta Rice Blitch and step-children Patrick Eagan, Colleen Likens, Michael Eagan & Timothy Eagan; cherished grandchildren: Connor Paden, Sam Blitch, Shealagh Eagan, Maris Paden, Alexandra Blitch, Liam Eagan, Lily Paden, Paulina Eagan, Kiera Eagan, Will Charouhis, Maeve Likens, Nola Likens, & Alexa Charouhis. The family will be receiving friends on Sunday from 5-7pm at Glick Family Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am on Monday, January 27, 2014 at St. Jude Catholic Church, Boca Raton with burial to follow at the Boca Raton Cemetery.
