Pola Brodzki, 85, of Ft. Lauderdale passed away May 23, 2013. Pola was a Holocaust survivor, and along with her husband, Ludwik, a pioneer and active member of the Broward Jewish community. She is survived by her children, Bella, Charles, and Gayle Brodzki, son-in-law Henry Issenberg, and grandchildren, Sasha and Sarina Issenberg, and brother-in-law Jacob Brodzki. Funeral services will be held Sunday, at Star of David Cemetery, May 26 at 1pm, 7701 Bailey Road, North Lauderdale. In lieu of flowers, please send contributions to the Brodzki Early Childhood Center at the Soreff JCC, Plantation Campus.

Pola was a very special lady and it was a honor to know and love her. Her beautiful smile and delightful laugh will always be with me. She was a beautiful lady inside and out. My thoughts and prayers are with all of your during this difficult time. Hoping that you find comfort in your loving memories of Pola.
