Raymond T. Hosterman Jr., DeLand, FL age 65 died on February 3, 2014. He was predeceased by his father Raymond T. Hosterman Sr. He is survived by his mother, Martha Hosterman;3 sons, Jeffrey (Allison), Mark (Kristin) and Doug (Ashley); 5 grandchildren, Justin, Callie, Hailee, Jacob and Nicole; sisters, Nancy Johnson, Shirley Reynolds, Mary (Michael) Calkins, Joyce (Rick) Williams, Lori (Dale) Walters and Patricia (Steve) Rogers; 12 nieces and nephews. Raymond was born June 1, 1948 in Providence, RI. and moved to Florida in 1957. He served our country in the US Army during Vietnam and received the Purple Heart. Raymond retired after 37 years working as a telephone cable repair technician. A gathering of friends will be Friday Feb. 7th from 10 am until 12 noon at Deltona Memorial Funeral Home, 1295 Saxon Blvd., Orange City, FL 32763. At 12 pm we will be leaving for Florida National Cemetery, where the committal service with Military Honors will be held at 2 PM. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in his memory to St Jude Children's Research Hospital www.stjude.org or to the Wounded Warrior www.woundedwarriorproject.org.
