McGann, Renford Louis 78, of Pembroke Pines, passed away on Wednesday, February 6, 2013. Louis migrated from Kingston, Jamaica in 1960 to New York, where he attended New York University and received a BS in Accounting in 1965 and a MA in Economics in 1969. He began his career with Bankers Trust in New York and worked in numerous capacities in the banking and financial industry in Jamaica as well as Florida, when he retired from the Opa-Locka CDC in 2011, after 24 years of service. He is survived by wife Faye McGann; daughters Debbie and husband Wayne Moodie; Sandie and husband Wayne Walker; step-son Richard Constantine; grandchildren Stephanie, Chelsea, Tristan and Aidan; brothers Juan Guardado Garcia and his wife Floreth, Manuel Guardado MacDonald and his wife Dora, and sister Dolores and her husband Raymond Donaldson; as well as beloved nephews, nieces, cousins and other relatives. A celebration of Life Service for Louis will be held Saturday, February 16, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the Holy Sacrament Episcopal Church, 2801 North University Drive, Pembroke Pines, Florida. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Brotherhood of Faith (Men's Group) at Holy Sacrament Episcopal Church.
