Richard D. Bingham of Fort Lauderdale, Florida passed away on December 31, 2013 from complications caused by surgery. Richard was 76 years old. Richard was born in Orange, New Jersey on October 27, 1937 and graduated from Boston University. After graduating college, he joined the United States Air Force and served two stints in Viet Nam. He left the Air Force in 1970 and obtained his Masters and his Ph.D. in Political Science from The University of Oklahoma. Richard held faculty positions at the University of Oklahoma, Marquette, The University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee and Cleveland State University as a Professor of Public Administration and Urban Studies. Richard is survived by his two children, Paul Bingham and Connie Bingham Castaldo. He is also survived by his 6 grandchildren, Shelby, Sydnee, Joey, Bailey, Michael and Spencer.
