Robert G. Parrish succumbed to a long term illness on 31 August 2013. Born August 6th, 1949 in Fort Hood Texas, Mr. Parrish is survived by his loving wife Ester Parrish and His Brother Richard (Nicola) Hoch, with daughter Andreya (Stephen) Pratt, and Son Anthony Parrish. He was proud of his two grandsons Christian and Mason. He is also survived by 2 stepdaughters and 6 stepsons. Robert had a large loving extended family of nieces and nephews. Robert was a highly decorated United States Marine during the Viet Nam conflict and was the recipient of two purple heart medals along with numerous other awards and medals. He was extremely proud of his service to his country. After Roberts departure from the military he tried several occupations, a term as a Broward Sheriffs deputy and finally choosing to be a long haul truck driver and over the years he proudly and safely accumulated several million miles. He is sorely missed as he now has gone to be with the Lord
