Stockton, Roger Kenneth D.D.S. age 96, passed away on June 22, 2013, in Boynton Beach, Florida. Roger was born in Chicago, Illinois on August 3, 1916 to Eugene and Ingha Stockton. He attended the University of Illinois graduating with a degree in dentistry, thereafter marrying Helen Berg his wife of 49 years. Roger served in World War II as a Captain in the South Pacific. Upon returning home, he established his dental practice in Chicago. In 1952 he moved with Helen and their three children to Fort Lauderdale becoming one of ten dentists in the area. He was also a charter member of Coral Ridge Country Club and served a term as commodore of Coral Ridge Yacht Club. Following the untimely death of his wife Helen in 1991, Roger later married Margaret Holda. Roger is survived by his wife Margaret, his son Richard (Kristi) Stockton, his daughter Rhonda (Peter) Portley, and his son Randall (Merrill) Stockton, as well as his eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Roger was predeceased by his brother, Stanley and his sisters Carol and Doris. Roger will be missed by his friends at Quail Ridge Country Club where he spent his winters as well as his friends at Highlands Falls Country Club in Highlands, N.C. where he enjoyed his summers. "Doc" Stockton will be remembered for his love of golf, music and art. A private family memorial will be held at a later date. Acta est fabula, plaudite!
