He is survived by his much adored wife Christina Isobel Griffith, his beloved children Donna and Andrew, his mother-in-law Honora Brennan, his dear sister-in-law Gerd Griffith, and nieces and nephews and spouses from Indiana: C. He was a Princeton University Graduate and alumni of Indiana University Law School. He lived in South Florida for over 40 years and was a long time member of Coral Ridge Country Club. Mr. Griffith was a loyal and tireless supporter of the Broward County Republican Party and many candidates, both on a local and national level. He loved his cat "Love", his freedom and helping to make people well. Through his foundation, he gave spontaneously to support his favorite subjects: music and the arts, children, public television, animal rescue, and numerous religious affiliations. In his lifetime, he traveled all over the world and never met a stranger with whom he couldn't find some common bond. His huge heart was always worn on his sleeve and he was often heard saying that he loved you. Walter was a wonderfully forgiving man, a true gentleman, devoted family man and a generous philanthropist. His legacy will live on in hearts of all the people he touched and he will be missed greatly.
