ARTHUR W. KLINGEL, JR. Arthur W. Klingel, Jr., 80, of Port St. Lucie, died September 27,
2013 at his residence. Art was born in Queens, New York and moved to Port St. Lucie 6 years ago from Melville, New York. He was of Catholic faith. He served in the United States Navy. Art was a member of the Elks Lodge, AMVETS, where he was a past commander, DAV (Disabled American Veterans), PBA (Patrolman's Benevolent Association), and the Emerald Society. Art has practiced law in New York since 1964. In 1968 his office was retained as General Council for Walter Darwin Teague Associates, the largest and oldest Industrial Design Firm in the United States. In 1972 he was elected to the Board of Directors, serving in that capacity until his retirement in 1999. Art was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Klingel and sister-in-law, Carol Klingel. Art is survived by his wife of 29 years, Elizabeth Klingel; step- children, Jamie Pellizzi, of Tampa, Florida, Christine Lagnese, of Land O'Lakes, Florida, and Diane Famiglitti, of Tampa, Florida; nieces and nephew, Donald Klingel, Carrie Klingel, and Linda Messina, all of Long Island, New York; step grandchildren, Courtney, Rocco, Gregory and Alyssa Famiglitti, and Michael and Samantha Lagnese. Memorial contributions may be made to Treasure Coast Hospice, 5000 Dunn Road, Fort Pierce, Florida 34981. Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 1, 2013 from 2-4 pm and 6-7 pm with Military Honors at 6:30 pm and a Vigil Service at 7 pm at Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Port St. Lucie, Florida.
