His most fulfilling achievement during his 40 year career was the collaboration with Doctors William White and Donald Gold in the creation of The Doctors' Clinic. Dr. Vann is survived by Jayne, his wife of 65 years; his son, Enoch James Vann III, daughters, Beth Smith, Jan Patrick, Valerie Vann-Oettl, Susie Wallace, and Dede Marine; his cousins; Polly Ingram of Atlanta, GA, Martha Wright of Daytona Beach, FL, Louie Perry and Frank Perry of Moultrie, GA, Dr. Joel Futral of Cornville, AZ, Dr. Ashley Futral of Winchester, VA, and Dr. Perry Ann Almquist of Charlotte, NC. During his 21 years of retirement he thoroughly enjoyed his 14 grandchildren and 4 great- grandchildren. His wife and children will forever remember him as a man utterly devoted to his family and to the service of others.
