Edward E. Hicks, 84, died April 2, 2013. He was a 1947 graduate of Winchester High School in Winchester, Mass., and graduated from Harvard University in 1951 and Harvard Law School in 1954. After serving in the Army during the Korean War, he practiced law with Comins and Newbury of Boston, and later Concord, for his entire career. He served on the Winchester Board of Selectmen, Winchester Hospital Board and the Winchester Savings Bank board of trustees. He was a longtime member of the Winchester Country Club before retiring to Florida. Survivors include four daughters, Susan Elkins of Sarasota, Patricia Levy of Baltimore, Betty Jo Buro of Stuart, and Nancy Keating of Winchester; brother, Fred (Bud) Hicks of Evansville, Ind.; and two grandchildren.
