EUGENE JAMES WHITE SR. Eugene James White Sr. 85, died 3/3/13 at home in Palm City Fl. He was born in Hartford, Ct., served in the Coast Guard and graduated from The University of Hartford in 1951, was the Corporate Controller for Kaman Corporation and rose to become the Senior Vice President - Finance for EG&G Inc. During his long successful business career was involved in many other business boards and organizations. Director International Training and Education (ITCO), VP and National Director of the Financial Executives Institute, President, Boston Chapter, Chairman of the Board of the National Alliance for Hydroelectric Energy, Director, Associated Industries of Massachusetts, Director of the New England Council, University of Hartford, recipient of Alumni Association 1976 Distinguished Alumnus Award, Member of the Board of Regents Alumni Management Group, Treasurers Club of Boston, Member of Natick Redevelopment Commission, Aircraft Industries Association Finance Committee, Director of ET Ryan Iron Works, recent board member of the Thompson Steele Co, Author of articles on the use of peripheral equipment systems with computers for the Connecticut Chamber of Commerce. Past President of Monarch Country Club Palm City FL and Board Member of Oyster Harbors Country Club Osterville MA. Survived by his wife, Patricia White, 3 sons, Timothy and Karen White of Birmingham, Alabama, John and Marlene White of Denver, Colorado, Eugene Jr. and Lisa of Marlboro, Massachusetts, grandchildren Craig White of Worcester, Massachusetts, Amy White Breen of Woonsocket, Rhode Island, Timothy White Jr. of Milford, Massachusetts, Amanda White of Natick Massachusetts, Mark White of Fort Lauderdale Florida, Christopher White of Atlanta Georgia, Courtney White of Cincinnati Ohio, Bruce Houck of Bethlehem New Hampshire, Brian Houck of Gibsonia Pennsylvania and Laurie Houck of San Diego, California and 2 great grand children, numerous nieces and nephews. . He was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years Vivian White, and grandson Eugene White III. Services: Visitation will be held at the Forest Hills Funeral Homes Memorial Park 2001 S. W. Murphy Road, Palm City, FL 34990 on Thursday March 7, 2013 from 2- 4:00 pm and 6:00 - 8:00 pm. The funeral service will be held at 10:00AM Holy Redeemer Catholic Church 1454 S.W.
