Honore June Blandford McNamee, 87, died Jan. 26, 2013, at Treasure Coast Hospice. She was born in Hammond, Ind., and retired to Fort Pierce in 1980, coming from Albert Lea, Minn. She graduated from Hammond High School, attended Purdue University, and was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority. She also attended Katherine Gibbs College in Chicago. She was a homemaker. She also volunteered at the Manatee Center in Fort Pierce for 11 years. She was a member of Indian River Presbyterian Church, Fort Pierce. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Gerald McNamee; daughter, Marcia Bea Black of Two Rivers, Wis.; son, Gerry Michael McNamee of Egan, Minn.; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Memorial contributions may be made to the Treasure Coast Hospice, 5000 Dunn Road, Fort Pierce, FL 34981. Services: A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Feb. 16 at Yates Funeral Home and Crematory, Fort Pierce, with Associate Pastor Brian Wenger officiating.
