Jean M. Conway died July 12, 2013. She lived in Vero Beach since 1991, coming from Birmingham, Mich. She attended Northwestern University's School of Speech, where she had principal roles in university theater productions, including the student produced WAAMU show. She appeared in regional Chicago theater productions. After moving to New York, she became a teaching director at Nancy Taylor Secretarial School and director of personnel at the Strang Cancer Prevention Clinic. While in Michigan, she was the president of the women's association at her church and was active in Cass Corridor Youth Advocates. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, where she served as a deacon. She also was a member of the Riomar Country Club and the Vero Beach Yacht Club. Survivors include her daughter Peggy; and one grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carton C. Conway.
