Paul Kloser, 79, died June 23, 2013, at Martin Medical Center. He was born in Geneva, N.Y., and lived in Palm City for 19 years, coming from Fort Pierce. He received a bachelor's degree from University of Wisconsin at Madison. Before retiring, he was environmental health director in Okeechobee. Survivors include his wife of 18 years, Carol Kloser of Palm City; daughters, Karen Spears of Vero Beach and Laurie Lopez of Anna, Texas; son, Steve Kloser of Tigard, Ore.; sister, Ila Tucker of Klamath Falls, Ore.; brother, David Kloser of Rochester, N.Y.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. . He was preceded in death by his son, Thomas Kloser; daughter, Barbara Mary Kloser; and sister, Verda Spaeth.
