Phyllis Walls, 80, died April 17, 2013, at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center, Fort Pierce. She was born in Indianapolis and lived in Port St. Lucie for five years, coming from Tallahassee. Before retirement, she was a medical secretary for Pathology Associates in Tallahassee. She graduated from Butler University and studied at Indiana University and the John Herron Art institute. Survivors include her daughters, Kathy Dutton of Tallahassee, Kelly LaBay of Boynton Beach and Karen Coppock of Port St. Lucie; son, Brian Walls of Tallahassee; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas H. Walls. Memorial contributions may be made to the Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League, 3200 N. Military Trail, West Palm Beach, FL 33409, 561-686-3663.
