Obituary

Roland Frederick Carlson, 91, died Nov. 9, 2012, at VNA Hospice House. He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and lived in Vero Beach, coming from Berkeley Heights, N.J. Before retirement, he worked for Prudential Insurance Co. of America. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a graduate of New York University and attended NYU Graduate School of Business. Survivors include his daughter, Cathy Carlson Moran; son, Jeffrey Roland Carlson; wife, Joyce Rudd Carlson; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Margaret Catherine Carlson; and brothers, John Edward Carlson Jr. and Donald James Carlson. Memorial contributions may be made to VNA and Hospice Foundation, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960. Services: Services will be at a later date. Arrangements are by Thomas S.
