Rudolph "Rudy" McCollough, 84, died Nov. 25, 2012, at The Treasure Coast Hospice Residence, Stuart. He was born in Defuniak Springs and lived in Palm City for 13 years, coming from Delray Beach. He was an Air Force veteran. Before retirement, he was an Office of Special Investigations special agent for the Air Force. He was a graduate of the University of Florida. He was a member of The Military Retired Officers Club and The Air Force Office Service Investigation Special Agents. Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Jewell of Palm City; daughter, Melody Schmidt of Carpentersville, Ill.; son, Mark D. Hawley of Orlando; one grandchild. He was preceded in death by his son, Michael. Services: Services will be private. Inurnment will be in Arlington National Cemetery. Arrangements are by Martin Funeral Home & Crematory/Stuart Chapel.
