Obituary Condolences

WILLIAM E. KLEIN William E. Klein, age 81, of Lantana, FL, passed away peacefully into the loving arms of his Lord and Savior, with his family by his side on November 14, 2012. Bill was born in Miami and lived in Coral Gables and Port St. Lucie, until moving to Lantana in June of this year. He graduated from St. Theresa High School in Coral Gables and the University of Florida, with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He married his high school sweetheart, Carol in June 1953. Bill served in the US Army Europe and later transferred to the US Navy, serving in the Ready Reserve and retired as Lieutenant Commander, Supply Corps. He worked for the City of Coral Gables and retired as Finance Director. He was President of the Florida Municipal Finance Officers Association, President of the Florida American Society for Public Administration and State Chairman of the Municipal Finance Officers Association of the US and Canada. He later served as Chief Financial Officer for the Sunshine State Governmental Financing Commission. Bill was a proud member of the Eagle Scouts, Knights of Columbus, Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity and the SunDancers Radio Control Flying Club. Bill is survived by his three daughters, Kathie (Don) Auld; Cindy (David) Horowitz; Laurie (Greg) Ulseth; his grandchildren Danielle Auld, Heather Auld, Sarah (Scott) Baldwin, Carol Anne Horowitz, Jackie Horowitz, Lisa Ulseth, Gregory (Sierra) Ulseth and Joey Ulseth; his three great-grandchildren Rebecca Baldwin, Baelynn Ulseth and Zachary Ulseth. Bill was predeceased by the love of his life, Carol, in January 2008. Friends may visit with the family between the hours of 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, November 20, 2012, at QUATTLEBAUM FUNERAL HOME, 1201 South Olive Avenue, West Palm Beach, with a Wake Service to be held at 7:30 PM. The Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, November 21, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Lantana, FL, with interment and Military Honors to follow at the South Florida National Cemetery, Lake Worth, FL.
