Kenneth W. Zehner|
Kenneth Willard Zehner, 72, of Franklin, Tenn., formerly of Tamaqua, died Sunday, Oct. 27. He was the husband of Saundra (Krause) Zehner.
He was a retired USNR captain and also retired as a controller from Masonite International Paper after 35 years and from Resort Quest-Gaylord Entertainment.
Born in Palmerton, he was a 1959 graduate of Tamaqua High School and a 1963 graduate of Penn State University with a degree in accounting.
Zehner was a member of the People's Church.
His passions were playing cards and hunting.
Surviving in addition to his widow are two sons, Keenan Scott of Fort Myers, Fla., and Rodney of Atlanta, Ga.; a grandson, Keenan Scott II of Atlanta; a sister, Eileen Meiser of New Ringgold; and several nieces and nephews.
Service: Burial and committal service 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, Zion's Stone Church Cemetery, with the Rev. Michael Frost officiating. Family and friends are invited to attend and join the family at the Zehner homestead immediately following the service.
