Larry J. Green, 67, of Vine Street, Lehighton, Franklin Township, died Friday morning, March 14, in his home. He was the husband of Adelfa (Sevilla) Green. They were married July 1, 1967.
He was employed as a maintenance engineer for Beltzville State Park, Franklin Township.A veteran of the Vietnam War, he served in the U.S. Marine Corps, achieving the rank of Sergeant.
- Born in Palmerton, he was a son of the late Arthur and Frances (Ahner) Green.
Larry was a member of People's EC Church, Franklin Township, and a member of American Legion Post 314, Lehighton. Over the years, he was active in his church, and enjoying being outdoors, hunting and fishing.
In addition to his wife, surviving are four daughters, Ester Huntington of Maui, Hawaii; Darhleen, wife of Vance Nelson, Tampa, Fla., Doreen, wife of Luis Leis, Winchester, Va., and Lora Green, Lehighton; a son Jesse, Maui; eight grandchildren, Tara, Chad, Amber, Amanda, Donovan, Sean, Jasmine and Sydney; great-grandsons Mason and Ethan; three sisters, Henrietta Roth, Lanora Schaeffer and Carol, wife of Charles Beers, all of Jim Thorpe; three brothers, Arthur, Collegeville; and Gerald, Michael, and his wife Sally, all of Jim Thorpe; and several nieces and nephews.
Service: 11 a.m. Friday, People's EC Church, 216 Wagner St., Lehighton. Interment with military honors, Franklin Heights Memorial Park, East Weissport, Franklin Township. Call 10-11 a.m. Friday at the church. Contributions may be made to the
