LeRoy A. Neff|
LeRoy A. Neff, 69, of Lafayette Avenue, Palmerton, died Monday afternoon, July 15, in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. He was the husband of Patricia A. (Balliet) Neff since May 17, 1968.
Neff worked in the maintenance department of the Nestle-Purina Corporation, Allentown, for many years.Born in Slatedale, Washington Township, he was a son of the late LeRoy and Katherine (Schmeck) Neff.
- He was a loving husband and father who would do anything for his family.
A Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War, he belonged to the Lehighton American and Palmerton V.F.W. posts.
He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed oldies music.
Surviving in addition to his widow are a daughter, Shannon N., wife of Christopher Velenik of Skippack, Montgomery County; a son, Ryan D. of Collegeville, Montgomery County; two sisters, Dorothy Reph of Berlinsville, and Marlene, wife of Sonny DeWalt of Slatington; and several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by a sister, Louise Murphy; and a brother, Clark E.
Service: Funeral service 10 a.m. Saturday, July 20, Campton Funeral Home, 525 Delaware Ave., Palmerton. Interment with military honors, Towamensing Cemetery, Palmerton.
