David Harold Hines

David H. Hines 71 passed away Sunday, August 3, 2014 at home surrounded by his family. A Celebration of Life service with full military honors will be at Thomas Memorial Baptist Church, August 21, at 11:00 AM, with Dr. Rob Coram officiating.

David was born August 21, 1942 in Whittington, ILL to Leroy and Dorothy Hines, the eldest of three children. David served our country in the Vietnam War as a U.S. Marine. Through his lifetime he worked in several career fields as a construction worker, truck driver, and business man. He was a Godly man, with strong Christian ethics and morals, a hard worker, and a loving and dedicated family man. He loved his family with all his heart, especially his wife, three children, and seven grandchildren.

He is survived by his family; wife, Anna Rosa Hines of Midway, daughter; Tiffany Elkins of Tallahassee, son; Timothy (Sirma Kae) Hines of Dangkok, Thailand, daughter; Antoinette (Michael) Plaster of Tallahassee, brother; Everett (Naomi) Hines of Chicago, ILL, sister; Joyce Monroe of Mt. Carmel, ILL,, sister-in-law; Patricia Little of Ocala, and many other family members.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Thomas Memorial Baptist Church, CEF fund, P.O. Box 725, Quincy, FL 32353.
