Frank Ford, Jr.

Frank Ford, Jr., 94, a retired Air Force Senior Master Sergeant of Leesburg, GA passed at his home on Saturday, November 10, 2012. Services are 11 a.m. Monday, November 19, at Bethel A.M.E. Church, 215 Washington Street, Albany, GA. Viewing will be Sunday, November 18, from 4-7 p.m. at the Church. TILLMAN OF TALLAHASSEE 850-942-1950 is serving the family.
A soldier's soldier, he received numerous honors during his career, including the Bronze Star and Air Force Commendation medal.
He is survived by: two sons, Anthony Lindsey Ford, Albany, GA and Frank Ford III, Leesburg, GA; daughter-in-law, Gloria Evans-Ford; granddaughter, Adrienne (Sgt. Deron) Myers and great-granddaughters, Olivia and Regan Myers of Charlotte, NC; grandson, Frank Ford IV of Mount Holly, NJ; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, his lifelong friends, Julius and Pleasant Mae Fisher, Quincy, FL, their daughter and his god daughter, Juliette Fisher-Jackson; and caretaker, Karen "Carrie" Marcus.
He was predeceased by his wife, Odessa Ford and his parents, Frank Sr. and Carrie Ford.
