Ms. Camp was a life-long Baptist who had been a member at First Baptist, East Hill Baptist, and Bradfordville First Baptist Churches in Tallahassee. She had a beautiful voice and sang in the choirs of all of these churches. Madgie loved her family dearly and kept detailed notes about family history.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Naaman Camp, Joseph Camp and Spurgeon Camp, and sisters Karia Barrier, Hazel Carter, Hettie Cobb, Mary Nell Hunt, and Martha Langley.
She is survived by her brother Robert C. Camp and his wife Mary, sister-in-law Ann Camp, brother-in-law William Langley, twenty nieces and nephews, numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews, and many cousins.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Donations in her memory may be made to the Bradfordville First Baptist Church Choir Fund, 6494 Thomasville Road, Tallahassee, FL 32312
