Mark Clay Pettijohn

Mark Clay Pettijohn age 62, passed away Saturday September 28th at Haven Hospice house of Gainesville, Florida. Mark was born in Tallahassee, Florida at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital on January 17th, 1951. In 1953 the family moved to Fort Lauderdale where Mark spent most of his childhood. Mark was a graduate at The University of Florida where he received a degree in construction management.
After receiving his diploma he settled in Crawfordville, Florida on the St Marks River. He worked as an engineer for the city of Tallahassee for 25 years. After retiring Mark moved to Gainesville, FL to be with his wife Delaney Pettijohn. Marks final resting place will be at Roselawn Cemetery in Tallahassee.
Mark is survived by wife, Delaney Pettijohn, daughter, Jeanne Pettijohn, son, Fred Pettijohn, and Step-daughter Megan Mayo.
Predeceased by his mother, Elaine Pettijohn, father, Fred Pettijohn, and brother Fred "Phil" Pettijohn. Private services will be held. In lieu of flowers please send to Haven Hospice of Gainesville, Florida.
