Robert G. Sherrill

Robert G. Sherrill, renown investigative journalist and author, died at age 89 on August 19, 2014 in Tallahassee.
Holder of two Masters Degrees, published widely, independent thinker, named on President Nixon's infamous "enemies list," Sherrill nevertheless defied political classification. His books included "The Accidental President," "The Drugstore Liberal," "The Last Kennedy," "The Saturday Night Special," "Military Justice Is to Justice As Military Music to Music," and textbooks: "Governing America" and "Why They Call It Politics," among other works.
His death is as if the Rock of Gibraltar had finally fallen, and the earth's volcanoes sat in silent respect.
