Charles Ronald Pohl
Age 64 of Nashville, TN, passed away peacefully on October 13, 2013.
He was born February 21, 1949 in Nashville to the late Charles E. and Martha L. Pohl. He graduated High School in Lynwood, CA; worked as a police officer in Los Angeles for many years; and was a retired detective of the Baldwin Park, CA Police Department. He was an avid car and power boat enthusiast, and he often enjoyed Lake Mead while living in Bullhead City, AZ; where he co-owned an auto parts business.
He is survived by his former wife, Linda Joyce Irene Pohl; children, Charles Jeffrey Patrick (Lisa) Pohl, Madelyn Gwynn Pohl; grandchildren, Charles Jeffrey, Carissa Juanita, Michael, Madison Belany; 7 brothers, Glenn (Margie), Stephen (Dottie), David (Debbie), Joel Victor, John (Jane), Thomas (Melinda) & Edward (Michelle) Pohl; and a sister, Rosemary Annette Kenoshita of Los Angeles.
Services will be conducted Saturday, October 19, 2013 at 6 p.m., at Woodbine Funeral Home, 3620 Nolensville Road. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Bordeaux Long Term Health Care Facility, (615) 862-6860.
