Mr. Elmer Lynn "Elmo" Boswell, age 76 of Franklin, TN, January 25, 2014.

Underwriter for Home Beneficial Life Insurance Co. Past President of Franklin Noon Rotary Club, Paul Harris Fellow, and singing cowboy for many years where he performed his song, "Empty Saddle" to pay tribute to the members of Rotary who passed away during the year. He received the Bluegrass Lifetime Achievement Award from the Bluegrass Along the Harpeth organization. Co-owner of the former BMA Records along with partners Fuller Arnold and Sam McGee.

Preceded in death by parents, Tom and Annie Lee Boswell; brothers, Tommy and Frank Boswell; sister, Dorothy Lee Hedgecoth; son-in-law, Hal Roberts. Survived by: wife, Violet Boswell; daughter, Cindy Roberts; granddaughter, Allison Roberts and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Chip Hunter officiating. Interment Williamson Memorial Gardens. Active Pallbearers will be Howard Barton, Ron Vann, Herman Caldwell, Walt Miller, Mark & Bob Stiles, Dalton Hayes, Hoyt Edwards, Jerry Farrelly, Glen Adams and Dave Kelly. Honorary Pallbearers will be Franklin Noon Rotary members. Memorials may be made to Rotary International or .
