BEVILL, John LewisAge 90 of Nashville and formerly of Ft. Smith, AR, passed away April 30, 2013. Mr. Bevill was a decorated veteran of World War II; he was awarded a World War II Victory Ribbon and a Bronze Star. He was a member of the HopePark Church in Bellevue; quietly volunteered at the Nashville Rescue Mission; and was retired from IKG Industries where he was the plant manager. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ivey Justine Bevill; parents, Walter Bevill and Ada Bevill; sisters, Christine McGuire and Mary Hocking and brother Albert Bevill. Survived by daughters Paula Bevill of Fort Smith, AR and Cheryl Bevill of Nashville, TN; special nephew, Frank "Rusty" McCrady; numerous nephews and nieces and grand nephews and grand nieces, and best friends Terry and Julie Oldham. Visitation will be on Thursday, May 2nd from at Spring Hill Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 4th at 11 a.m. from the Chapel at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Fort Smith, AR.
