Sherry -- I am sad about your father's death and your mother's death, and that you and your family have had both their deaths occur so close together. I knew your mother first when I was a Theta at Vanderbilt. She was very helpful in so many ways throughout all those times, and always friendly and so very likable. She was a delightful and wise person.
Also, I remember her from your time at Ensworth, so long ago, yet so memorable, and of course I remember you from those days, such happy times with so many fine young people. You were a bright girl, and a wonderful person, and I'm sure you still are. Your parents must have been so proud of you. Please know that I am thinking of you and your family at this sad time.
With deepest sympathy, I am, Sincerely, Ann Harwell Wells

To the Crain Family-
I was sorry to here about your Father. I had met Mr. Crain a few times but my connection with him was through hearing my mother Frances Tisdale speak of him and my father, Tom Tisdale, Sr.
As I recall, Tom Crain and Tom Tisdale were good friends and they spent summers together working for Crain Construction. This would have been in the 1930's.
Somehow, they both attended Georgia Tech.
My mother and father are gone, but I know they would want me to send condolences.
