FERRELLI, Joseph V.Age 79, passed away on June 9, 2013. Born August 11, 1933 in Burlington, NJ, he is preceded in death by his parents, Vincenzo and Venanzia Ferrelli; his brothers, Daniel and Dominick Ferrelli; sisters, Edith Sodano and Margaret Marter. He is survived by his brothers, Pasquale and Anthony Ferrelli; his wife of 54 years, Betty Ferrelli; daughter, Karen Gardi (Pietro) of Naples Italy, and sons, J. Kenneth Ferrelli (Lisa) and Mark Ferrelli (Tara) of Nashville. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Andrea, Alessio and Michelle Gardi of Naples, Italy, and William, Carrie, Jacob and Joseph Ferrelli of Nashville. After spending four years in the Navy, he graduated from the University of Alabama where he was a member of the Theta Xi fraternity. He worked for various companies in Nashville including Intereal, a subsidiary of National Life Insurance Company, Southeast Venture and Metropolitan Federal Bank. He graduated from the Nashville School of Law in 1985 and later opened his own law office where he worked until 2011. He was an active member of St. David's Episcopal Church, the Episcopal Churchmen of Tennessee, the Tennessee Laymen's Conference, the Vanderbilt University Club, the Belmont Mansion Association and the Dubose Conference Center in Monteagle Tennessee. A memorial service is planned for June 22, 2013 at St. David's Episcopal Church, 6501 Pennywell Drive, Nashville, TN 37205 beginning at 12 Noon. Visitation will precede the service at 10:30 a.m. Donations, in lieu of flowers, may be made to St. David's Church.
