Marjorie Cambron Horn

Marjorie Cambron Horn of Nashville, TN, passed away the 16th of March, 2014. Mrs. Horn was born on the 7th of June, 1917, the daughter of Carl M. Cambron and Ruth Dance Cambron.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Connell Edward Horn and her daughter, Connie Horn Dorough.

She is survived by her son, Stephen Edward Horn (Ann) and grandchildren, John W. Dorough III (Heidi) of Auburn, AL, Christopher E. Dorough (Lisa) of Birmingham, AL, Stephen Tipton Horn of Austin, TX and Ann Briggs Horn of Chicago, IL and six great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Horn graduated from the former Tennessee College for Women in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. She was a public school teacher for a number of years, first at Warren County High School and later in Davidson County at John Overton High School.

Mrs. Horn was a long time member of the Centennial Club and Vine Street Christian Church.

Visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home on Thursday, the 20th of March 2014, with a graveside service to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
