Mary Baldwin Kincaid Johnson

Mary Baldwin Kincaid Johnson died peacefully with family at her side. Born August 13, 1939, died December 7, 2013.

Mary was the daughter of the late Henry Patton and Mary Emma Kincaid. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 49 years, A. Harrison "Harry" Johnson, Jr. and her brother, Henry Patton "Pat" Kincaid of Danville, KY.

Mary is survived by Callie Johnson and Harrison (Lisa) Johnson, both of Nashville; three grandchildren, Avery, Addison and Drew; and seven nieces and nephews.

A vocal talent, Mary competed regionally as a member of the A Capella Choir at Lebanon High School. In 1961, Mary graduated with honors from Vanderbilt University and started her career as a speech pathologist at the Bill Wilkerson Center. She was a member of St. George's Episcopal Church, the American Speech and Hearing Association, the Daughters of the American Revolution and Alpha Omicron Pi. Mary always put her faith in God and family first and touched many lives with her kind heart and cheerful smile.
