The close of Life's Journey came March 30, 2014 for Mary Louise Dickey. The former Manager of Tennessee State University Book Store and retired Metro School Teacher at Glenn Elementary School.

Preceded by parents, Charles Edward and Willie Trice Hopkins; step-mother, Nellie Hopkins; son, Michael Dickey; 2 sisters and 3 brothers.

Survived by devoted husband, Rufus Dickey; granddaughter, Breanna Dickey; grandson, Derrick Jefferally; sister, Emma Ross; daughter-in-law, Eartha Dickey; sister-in-law, Ruth Hopkins; dear and devoted nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives, church families and dear friends.

Visitation Saturday, April 5, 2014 from 12 Noon to 1 p.m., at First Baptist Church Capital Hill, 625 Rosa L. Parks Blvd. Funeral service will follow, Dr. Kelley Miller Smith, Jr., Pastor, officiating.

The AKA Sorority Ivy Beyond The Wall Ceremony will be held at 12:45 p.m. Committal and Interment Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, Pegram, TN Monday, April 7, 2014 at 1 p.m.
