SATTERWHITE, Melissa Passed away peacefully at her home on September 25, 2013. A native of Nashville, she was a 1972 graduate of Hillsboro High School. She received her law degree from the University of Georgia and practiced law in Washington D.C. with the Department of Justice and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. She returned to the Nashville area in 2006. Melissa is survived by her husband, Don Sullivan; and step-daughter, Emily Sullivan. She is also survived by her brother, Scott Satterwhite of Atlanta, GA, his wife Patty and their three children; and other relatives in the area, in particular her cousin, Ame Satterwhite, who was like a sister to her. She was an elegant, beautiful, and intelligent woman. Her end came much too soon. She will be greatly missed.
