Hi Flora. I don't know if you will see this, but I wanted to offer condolences (7 years late). I have very fond memories of your dad, my Uncle Ralph. :)
My dad, Jerry Flanders, thought of your dad as a great friend. They really cared for each other. I remember your dad took me to the base to buy a bicycle.
We visited your house a few times. I remember that TV that had the REMOTE CONTROL. What magic is this? I don't have to get up and walk across the room to change channels? Amazing!!
This morning, I was trying to remember your dad's name. I knew who he was but it stayed below... then... it surfaced, and I smiled. When I look his name up on Google, and the picture appeared, I nearly cried when I saw he was alive until 2014 and I never reached out. I am so sorry.
Although few, your dad and your family are pleasant memories for me.
May the Lord bless you and keep you. May He make is face shine down upon you and may He give you peace.
God bless,
Bob Flanders
