WILLIAMS, Ray C.Age 91 of Hendersonville. Was born November 26, 1920 to Jessie and Emma Ray Williams and married to Lou Brinkley on September 7, 1940. Survived by children, Judy (Robert) McNeill, Nancy (Tony) Guffie, Roberta (David) Yeast, Roggie (Roberta) Williams; brothers, Cullom and Luster; sisters, Dean Grandstaff, Sandell (Kirk) Waite; half-brothers and sisters, Kirk, Lula and Minnie; grandchildren, Sandy (Rusty) Hayes, Angie Fritz, Anthony (Kristie) Guffie, Chris Yeast, Diana Dorris, Ashley (Toby) York and Billy Ray (Angelia) Williams; great-grandchildren, Faythe, Amiee, Fysher, Zack, Emily, Kelsie, Morgan, Kinsley, Morgan, Raegan, Abi, Brody. Ray served in WWII for the 5th Infantry and was a 945 Rifleman; received the Purple Heart, Eamet Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Bronze Star and Oak Leaf Cluster. Funeral service will be on Tuesday, November 20 at 10 a.m. with visitation Monday from 3 - 8 p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
