Mr. Ronald G. Creasy, age 76 of Hendersonville, TN, passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2013 in Nashville TN.

Funeral services for Mr. Creasy will be held Friday, December 13, 2013 at 11 a.m., from Fairfield Methodist Church, with Bro. David Lunsford officiating. Interment to follow in New Hope Cemetery.

Visitation will begin on Thursday, December 12th from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Woodard Funeral Home, and Friday, December 13, 2013 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., Fairfield Methodist Church.

He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps and was a veteran of the Korean War. After his active service, Ronald worked for RCA in Bloomington, IN and Memphis. He then worked for the City of Memphis for 17 years as a purchasing agent.

Mr. Creasy was preceded in death by his father, James Olie Creasy; mother, Ruby Creasy; brother, Don Creasy, Decorated Korean War Veteran; aunt, Jessie Brown.

He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Sherron Mandrell Creasy, Hendersonville, TN; son, Dr. Todd (Alicia) Creasy, NC; grandchildren, Richard, Roman & Taelor Creasy; brother, "Ed" Foster Creasy, AL - Decorated WWII Veteran; sister, Edith Meador, Goodlettsville, TN; sister, Jimmie Jones, Jackson, TN.

Pallbearers will be: Gene Denning, Dewayne Oldham, Larry Templeton, Toby Ellis, Alex Oldham, Glen Baurnfind. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Jerry Denning, Timmy Rich, Tom Creasy, Eric Huddleston, Vince Ellis, Keith Norman, Dan Downs, Jamie Bailiff, Jerry Perdue.
